Plot Summary
Muthuvel Pandian's Life
Muthuvel Pandian is a retired police officer living peacefully with his family in Tamil Nadu. His son, ACP Arjun, investigates Varman, a ruthless gangster involved in idol smuggling.
While Arjun gets close to capturing Varman, he suddenly goes missing. The police department covers up the incident by claiming that Arjun committed suicide due to work pressure. This leaves Muthuvel devastated.
Seeking Revenge
Determined to avenge his son, Muthuvel starts tracking Varman’s gang. His first step is eliminating Seenu, one of Varman’s key men. He forces an innocent taxi driver, Vimal, to help dispose of Seenu’s body.
Varman retaliates by targeting Muthuvel’s family. However, Muthuvel protects them and decides to take the fight to Varman. To ensure his family’s safety, he blackmails a psychiatrist, S. Dhandapani, into providing them shelter.
Forming an Alliance
Muthuvel seeks help from his old ally, Narasimha, a reformed gangster. Narasimha provides four skilled sharpshooters to assist him. Together, they disrupt Varman’s operations, humiliating him publicly.
Realizing Muthuvel’s capabilities, Varman hires a deadly gangster, Kamdev, to eliminate him. However, Kamdev discovers Muthuvel’s past and refuses to go against him.
The Final Confrontation
Muthuvel finally corners Varman in his hideout. Varman reveals that Arjun is alive but has turned corrupt, siding with Varman for money. A hidden camera exposes Arjun’s betrayal. Muthuvel then eliminates Varman with the help of his allies.
Later, Muthuvel gives Arjun one last chance to redeem himself, but Arjun chooses greed over family. At Muthuvel’s command, Narasimha’s men kill Arjun. Muthuvel walks away, carrying the weight of his decision.
