Storyline and Plot
The Beginning
Devki Sabarwal, a well-loved biology teacher, tries to bond with her stepdaughter Arya. However, Arya maintains emotional distance from her, as she still misses her biological mother.
One day, Arya attends a Valentine's Day party at Zodiac Farms despite her parents’ concerns. At the party, she rejects the advances of Mohit Chadda and his cousin Charles Deewan. Furious over the humiliation, they plot revenge.
The Tragic Assault
While leaving the party, Arya is kidnapped and brutally assaulted by Mohit, Charles, and two accomplices, Baburam Yadav and Joginder "Jagan" Singh. They leave her for dead in a roadside ditch.
A man walking his dog finds Arya the next morning and rushes her to the hospital. Devki and Anand are shattered as Arya suffers severe internal injuries. Despite her trauma, Arya identifies the attackers.
The Trial and Its Failure
Inspector Mathew Francis arrests the culprits, but weak evidence and legal loopholes lead to their acquittal. The court dismisses Arya’s testimony, citing alcohol consumption as a factor affecting her memory. The verdict devastates the family. Arya withdraws emotionally, rejecting any comfort from Devki.
Devki’s Quest for Justice
Losing faith in the legal system, Devki approaches private detective DK. With his help, she plans her own justice.
*Baburam Yadav: She drugs him and has former students castrate him. In shock, he dies in an accident.
*Charles Deewan: She poisons his nutritional supplement with cyanide from apple seeds, leading to paralysis.
*Mohit Chadda: She plants fabricated evidence linking him to Charles’ murder. He is arrested and tortured in jail.
The Final Showdown
Jagan discovers Devki’s involvement and hunts her down. He kills DK and tracks Devki’s family to their vacation cottage in Kufri.
